Does a new boiler need registering?
Yes. Every new gas boiler has to be notified to Building Control. As Gas Safe registered engineers we do this for you, and you’ll get a compliance certificate. The boiler warranty needs registering too, usually within 30 days, and most need a yearly service to stay valid.
Is a boiler service the same as a landlord gas safety certificate?
No. A boiler service checks your boiler is running safely and efficiently. A landlord gas safety certificate (CP12) covers every gas appliance in the property, plus the pipework. Landlords in Wandsworth, Kingston and across South West London need the CP12 every year either way, and we can do both on the same visit.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
